Description
Kumihimo is a Japanese braiding process that uses a notched disk with a hole in the center using 8-24 strands. The arrangement of the strands and the placement of the colors as well as the sequence of strand movements determine the patterns that the braid develops. I like to choose the yarn and cording for these braids to make necklaces that pick up the colors in the focal stones of pendants.
