Artist's Description

This cat is slinking around and looking back... What mischief has he got into? He is a scatter pin that will look great slinking across your shirt or jacket of any color-- he's got them all. In the flame painting technique used here different colors develop at different temperatures allowing me to draw with the flame. Because of the variables, no two are alike. This is a signed piece.

That did it-- I was hooked! Since then I have made over 1,000 unique pieces, many of which are now in private collections across the U.S. Many have earned ribbons in juried shows over the last 10 years at both the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda, Florida and at the Florida Society of Goldsmiths. I love to design with the power of color and patterns by cutting many of my own natural stones and fusing my own glass, as well as through enamels (powdered glass fused on metal), intarsia (geometrically assembled stones) and its sister, inlay,...
