Fusing glass is part planning and a lot of serendipity. Many years ago, I fused some pieces of unknown dark iridescent scrap glass similar to this and was so amazed at the result , I have been on a quest ever since to reproduce the effect. This piece and 637 Lava Flow are part of the journey. The colors change as you view from various angles, so it is a happy complement to many jewel tones and earth tones. The wire is 14k gold filled and the bail is large enough to hang on beads or can be completely removed tos tring the glass on a thin cable.
